After reeling from Henrik Zetterberg not being elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame, to being left off the quarter-century team, we decided the best course of action was to take to the Twitterverse.

What's your favorite Zetterberg moment? That's what we asked our social media friends and got some amazing answers.

Zetterberg fights Evgeni Malkin

Henrik Zetterberg was never much of a fighter, but he could hold his ground. When Pittsburgh Penguins' Evegeni Malkin decided to drop the gloves, the slick Swede made him pay for it.

Another fun time. Here’s Zetterberg owning Evgeny Malkin after the Pittsburgh Penguin tried jumping Zetterberg. Our former captain wasn’t a fighter, but he can stand up for himself.

I can’t remember a time when Zetterberg was so physical with a player, making this clip even more entertaining.

FYI: The video is listed as age-restricted because it is a fight. You will need to click on the video below to watch it on YouTube.

Opponents hated playing against Zetterberg. It makes it even harder for adversaries when Zetterberg doesn’t bite back. More often than not, Zetterberg would just laugh at a combatant getting angry with him. Likely infuriating them even more.

Zetterberg takes on Toews

My favorite memory is more of a series of events. Watching Zetterberg take on the former Chicago Blackhawks captain, Jonathan Toews. Detroit’s captain showed no mercy but exemplified what it means to play on the edge. Getting under the skin of his opponents only to have them take multiple trips to the three penalties back-to-back-to-back. They might have lost the war, but it was still a highlight to watch—pure entertainment from Zetterberg.

This will be a multi-part series. So, if you think of something fun we may have missed, you can still chime in! Give @OctopusThrower_ a follow and reply to this message and maybe we will feature it!
