The Detroit Red Wings are nearly at the end of the line. It’s close. With just three games left in the season, it’s almost time to wrap it up on another year of Red Wings hockey. But not before the team faces off against three more tough opponents.
The Detroit Red Wings are playing host to the Dallas Stars, who are battling with the Colorado Avalanche at the top of the Central Division with 102 points. Dallas is 7-2-1 in their last ten games, with wins in each of their previous three.
The Red Wings are going to have their hands full in this one. It’s certainly not going to be easy. The Stars are playing good hockey, and it will require the Red Wings to stop a team that is surging right now. The Red Wings are fresh off a tough loss to the Penguins.
As the Stars approach the postseason, they are looking to build some momentum and just everything firing on all cylinders. The way they have played as of late has been excellent, but they are looking to keep it going.
Detroit Red Wings game information and prediction vs. Stars
Jason Robertson has been absolutely on fire for the Stars. He’s been an offense machine as of late. With four goals and eight assists in the last five games, Robertson leads the Stars with 12 points. He’s going to be a problem for the Red Wings.
Jake Oettinger is the netminder for the Stars which could be problematic for the Red Wings. He’s 35-11-11 with a 2.42 GAA, a .918 SV%, and four shutouts, respectively. Their backup, Scott Wedgewood, has not been too shabby either, 8-8-3 in his 19 starts.
