The Detroit Red Wings have dropped their last three games in a row. After falling 5-2 to the Panthers on Monday, things continue trending in the wrong direction for Detroit.
The Detroit Red Wings are now slated for a home-and-home with the St. Louis Blues. Similar to what they did with the Bruins a few weekends ago. Detroit will head to St. Louis to face off against the Blues in their barn on Tuesday.
They’ll get another chance at St. Louis on Thursday as well. As the team continues down the home stretch, the hope was that the Red Wings would go out and compete, playing meaningful hockey rather than just packing it in and playing throw-away hockey.
This home-and-home is a chance for the Red Wings to get back on track and try to find a win. The Red Wings are 2-7-1 in their last ten, with a three-game skid underway. The Blues are 5-5-0 in their last ten, with two wins in a row as they look to make it three.
Detroit Red Wings game information and prediction vs. Blues
Simon Edvinsson took a beer-league hit from Radko Gudas that sent him to the locker room. It sounds like he could still be dealing with an injury before tomorrow’s game. The Red Wings’ defense core already has enough injuries to deal with.
If Gustav Lindstrom can return, he will slot back into the lineup, but without Lindstrom, another call-up will need to be made to help keep the Red Wings’ defense core intact. Hopefully, Edvinsson he’s able to get back on the ice and keep logging some NHL time. It seemed like he has settled in and is starting to find his footing.

Odds: According to DraftKings, the St. Louis Blues are the favorite in this matchup with a -135 payout on the Moneyline. The Detroit Red Wings have a +115 payout on the Moneyline. The Red Wings are also +1.5 on the Puck line with a -210 payout. The Blues are -1.5 on the Puck Line with a +180 payout. The over/under is set at 6.5. The over is the favorite with a -120 payout. Prediction: The Detroit Red Wings have not played the best hockey lately, dropping their last three. This two-game home-and-home will be a good chance for the Red Wings to get back in the win column. I like The Red Wings on the Moneyline in this one; I think they can get it done against the Blues. Also might be worth checking the prop bets for David Perron for the over on points for him.
