Detroit Red Wings vs. Predators Game 67 Preview, Prediction, Odds
The Detroit Red Wings were able to steal Sunday’s capper against the Boston Bruins, piecing together a 5-3 win on home ice. The Red Wings were able to split the home-and-home with Boston and come away with a big win over a Bruins team that is going to compete for a Stanley Cup this year if they have anything to say about it.
The Detroit Red Wings are not going to pull their foot off the gas and are continuing to try and keep playing quality hockey rather than just throwing in the towel. Even after a busy trade deadline where the quality of the team took a hit.
The Red Wings continue to trudge along. They are headed to the music city to take on the Nashville Predators. For the Red Wings, it’s the chance to steal another two points and keep working to play a complete game from start to finish.
The Predators have been getting it done, so they will have to stop them. Nashville is 7-2-1 in their last 10 and looking to keep the good times rolling after wins in each of their last games as well. Detroit is looking to stay in the win column as well.
Detroit Red Wings game information and prediction vs. Predators
The Predators may have sold off Mattias Ekholm at the trade deadline, but they have not slowed down and have been continuing to push for a Wildcard spot. So this game against the Red Wings is huge for them to add two points to their season total.
Predators forward Tommy Novak has been hot as of late, with three goals and five points overall in the last five games. But they also have weapons like Matt Duchene and Ryan Johansen, who will need to be contained.

Odds: According to DraftKings, the Nashville Predators are the favorite with a -155 payout on the Moneyline. On the flip side, the Detroit Red Wings have a +135 payout on the Moneyline. The Red Wings are +1.5 on the Puck Line, with a -180 payout as the favorite. The Predators are -1.5 on the Puck Line with a +155 payout. The over/under is set at 6.0. Both the over and under hold a -110 payout as things stand.
Prediction: The Red Wings and Predators should be in for a good game. With the goaltending match-up expected to be Ville Husso vs. Juuse Saros, I think it’s going to come down to which offense can find ways to beat the other netminder. That being said, I’m gonna have faith in the Red Wings’ offense and rock with them. I like Red Wings Moneyline and the under at 6.0 in this game.
