Detroit Red Wings vs. Kraken Game 55 Preview, Prediction, Odds
The Detroit Red Wings continue with their road trip as they head further west and cross the border back into the states—Detroit’s in Seattle for Saturday’s contest against the Kraken. The Red Wings have taken home wins in their last five games.
The road trip is three games deep (of five), and they want to keep the good times rolling. Eventually, the fatigue and lack of energy will catch up and be a problem. But the Detroit Red Wings looked sluggish in the first period against Calgary before getting things going and building momentum the rest of the way.
It’s been a strenuous start to the second half, a lot of hockey and now the road trip aspect of it. Even with the success the Red Wings have been having, there have to be some concerns that the team’s energy level could play a factor at one point.
Seattle has been impressive as they’ve broken into the league and built things up quickly as they keep going through their second season. The Red Wings could run into the buzzsaw that cuts down their win streak as they head to Seattle, but let’s remain optimistic.
Detroit Red Wings game information and prediction vs. Kraken
Seattle is 4-4-2 in their last ten games with a one-game win streak. Detroit’s got victories in their previous five and is 7-3-0 in their last ten overall. It’s going to be a good match-up for sure, but with the way things have been going, the Red Wings are going to look to go out and do their thing.
The offense has worked well, finding ways to score and get the job done. The team has improved vastly on the special teams’ efforts, which could play a role once again if they can execute once again in Seattle.

Prediction: Let’s keep the good vibes rolling. Keeping the good times rolling and keeping the streak alive is doable. If they can keep the fatigue from creeping into their game and being a problem, the Red Wings will be able to get the job done. For that reason, I’m going to back the Red Wings with my prediction. I think Detroit will get it done. For that reason, I like Detroit on the Moneyline and Puck Line if you are hesitant. With Husso back in net, I’m also a fan of the under here.
