Detroit Red Wings forward and captain Dylan Larkin has made history. During the game on Tuesday night, Larkin picked up his 400th career point after an assist on the team’s first goal of the night.

The Detroit Red Wings were able to grab a 1-0 lead early in the second period, and Larkin assisted on that to reach the 400-point threshold. He was up near the blue-line skating with the puck before he turned and fired one on net.

It was Adam Erne in front of the net who got a stick on Larkin’s shot and re-directed it downward to beat Sharks goalie James Reimer. A simple goal and simple play that resulted in Larkin accomplishing some history.

Both sides seem to be in agreement that somewhere between $8-9 million will be the final spot, but they continue to negotiate.
