Detroit Red Wings vs. Dallas Stars Game 27 Preview, Prediction, Odds
The Detroit Red Wings are set to take on Dallas in their next contest of the road trip on Saturday. The Red Wings have a (13-8-5) record and are fourth in the Atlantic Division. The Stars have a (15-7-5) record to compare and are second in Central Division.
After a beat down from the Florida Panthers on Thursday, the Detroit Red Wings will continue with the road trip as they traveled to Texas for the last leg of the trip. They play on Saturday before heading home to take on the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Red Wings were on a roll to start things, coming away victorious in the first two games of the road trip, including a 4-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning. They’re looking to get back on track against Dallas.
With Alex Nedeljkovic in the net on Thursday for the shellacking, giving Ville Husso a chance to sit. Husso should be back in the net on Saturday, continuing to settle things down in the blue paint for the Red Wings.

Odds: According to DraftKings, the Dallas Stars are the Moneyline favorite, with -190 odds to win. The Red Wings are favorited with a +1.5 puck line at -155 odds. The over/under is set at 6.0 for the contest, with the over being favored at -120 odds.
Now that we have some of the odds laid out let’s look at the game a bit deeper and offer some predictions.
Prediction: As the Red Wings square off with the Stars, I expect the team to look for a bounce-back game. The Panthers took it to them on Thursday, and the road trip is ending. I’d expect a sluggish start for the Red Wings. If the netminder match-up is Husso against Jake Oettinger, I like the 6.0 under as a good play.
The issue I have is if Nedeljkovic is in the net; if so, hammer the over with the way Nedeljkovic has looked like swiss cheese. Betting aside, it will be a big test for the Red Wings. The only chance the team has to win is if Husso is in the crease.
