The Red Wings Make Blockbuster Trade with the Flames
Could the Red Wings go all in on Matthew Tkachuk? or I suppose the better question is would they? The answer to that is probably not. However, this is a bold predictions article and I feel this is pretty much a bold prediction as it can get.
The Calgary Flames are in a cap predicament and therefore, some moves have to be made. First thing they have to do is find a new home for Sean Monahan which won’t be easy unless they make a package deal. And I’m not sure about you guys, but I’d be more than happy to take on the contract of Monahan if it meant a package deal in which we could acquire Matthew Tkachuk as well.
Now, the deal would be rather large I’m sure. However, I’d be happy to make something happen to get him. I really feel that this deal could go down as the best trade of all-time if general manager, Steve Yzerman, were to make something happen with the Flames.
