Red Wings host Buffalo in first of Home-and-Home Series

Tonight, the Detroit Red Wings will host the Buffalo Sabres in a home and home matchup that will conclude with a matinee game on Monday in Buffalo.  These two games are pivotal for the Red Wings and will go a long way in indicating if this team makes any kind of charge towards the playoffs.

Detroit won the first two games 4-3 and 3-2, against Buffalo in November.  The Sabres are currently 28th in the NHL standings and are 3-4-3 in their last 10 games.
