The Detroit Red Wings will travel to play the Carolina Hurricanes tonight. The Hurricanes haven’t played since Sunday after having their Tuesday game postponed because of at least six players out of the lineup due to positive COVID tests.
This is the first of three meetings between the teams.
Game time tonight is 7:00 PM ET at PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC.
On Tuesday, Lucas Raymond became the 2nd fastest (29 games) Red Wings teenager to reach the 25 point mark to start a career. Raymond collected an assist on Dylan Larkin’s 11th goal of the season to reach the feat. Steve Yzerman has the record of 25 points in 23 games.
Also on Tuesday, Moritz Seider became the second fastest rookie defenseman to reach the 20 point mark. Seider also assisted on Larkin’s 11th goal to reach the feat in 29 games. Nicklas Lidstrom continues to have the record of 22 games.
