The Detroit Red Wings host the Vegas Golden Knights after an exciting 4-3 victory in OT against Buffalo last night.  Game time is 6:00 PM ET at LCA in Detroit, MI.

Vegas are on a two game winning streak after a convincing 5-2 win last night in Montreal.

Red Wings Notes

  • Rookie defenseman Moritz Seider scored the OT goal (his 1st NHL goal) in Buffalo and leads all rookie defensemen in scoring with 10 points in 12 games
  • Detroit return home after a four game road trip where they went 1-3-0
  • Detroit is currently 21st in league standings with a 5-5-2 record
  • Detroit is currently 28th in special teams, PP 15.0%, PK 69.1%
  • Rookie Lucas Raymond had three assists in Buffalo and now leads all NHL rookies in scoring with 13 points in 12 games
  • Tyler Bertuzzi scored two goals and four points in Buffalo and lead the Red Wings with eight goals and 13 points in 9 games
  • Thomas Greiss 3-3-0, 3.45 GAA, .897 SV% is expected to start in goal
