Personal Note
Before turning professional, Florida LW Carter Verhaeghe played for my hometown team, the Niagara Ice Dogs (OHL), for four years. In 2014-15, Vergaeghe was the captain of the Ice Dogs. He recently played his 100th NHL game. He was in my grade 12 class while he was a student in my school, and I am very proud of his accomplishments as a NHL player.
