The Detroit Red Wings will host the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday night 7:00 PM ET at LCA in Detroit, MI.

This is the second of four straight home games to start the season for the Red Wings.

Detroit Red Wings Notes

The Red Wings opened the season with an entertaining 7-6 OT loss to the two-time defending Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Red Wings will be without Dylan Larkin who earned a one-game suspension for his intent-to-injure match penalty on Thursday night.  Larkin was also injured on the play and will be evaluated concerning his status for Tuesday’s game at home against Columbus.

Robby Fabbri will move up to the top line and play center between Tyler Bertuzzi and Lucas Raymond.  Carter Rowney will take Larkin’s forward spot in the lineup and play right wing with Mitchell Stephens and Givani Smith.

Healthy scratches for the Red Wings tonight will be defensemen Troy Stecher and Jordan Oesterle.
