Greg Stefan

Greg Stefan played his entire 10 year professional career in the Detroit Red Wings organization.  Stefan was drafted in the 7th round of the 1981 draft.  Prior to being drafted, Stefan played three years in the OHL with the Oshawa Generals.

He began his professional career with Adirondack (AHL) in 1981 and played two NHL games for Detroit that season.  His best season occurred in 1987-88 when he went 17-9-5 during the regular season.  During his career, Stefan played 30 playoff games and earned one shutout and had a 12-17-0 record.  Today, Stefan is the goaltending coach for Flint (OHL) and is entering his 4th season as a head coach in the Compuware AAA program.
