The Los Angeles Kings may be looking to shed salary this summer.  They are a rebuilding team with few roster spots for their young stable of prospects.  According to Capfriendly, the Kings have almost $67 million in commitment to 19 players.  Dustin Brown just concluded his 18th season in the NHL.  He has one year remaining on his current contract before he can become a UFA next summer.  Brown has played his entire career with the Kings.  He served as captain and alternate captain for most of the last 13 years.  He has scored 684 points in 1232 games played.  If Los Angeles is looking to shed salary, Dustin Brown may be the guy on his way out of Tinseltown.
