Chase Pearson was selected in the 5th round of the 2015 Entry Draft. He signed his first entry level contract after playing for the University of Maine (NCAA). He was captain at Maine for the last two years before turning professional. He has played parts of three seasons for Grand Rapids (AHL). Pearson has scored 46 points in 97 games with the Griffins. An RFA, Pearson should be re-signed by Detroit and make his debut in the NHL at some point next year.
