Here are the top five goals from the Detroit Red Wings first week of preseason play.

Despite only winning one game this week, the Red Wings were still able to score 13 goals in four games. A thriller against the Pittsburgh Penguins and a comfortable win against the Boston Bruins both yielded 10 goals for the Wings. However, the other two games also produced some great goals including our no.1 goal of the week from Tuesday’s loss to the Bruins.

#5 Michael Rasmussen vs. Chicago Blackhawks

This was Rasmussen first preseason goal as a Red Wing, the 2017 first-round pick intercepts the puck and then uses his size and power to skate toward the net and score. Rasmussen’s goal is a perfect display of one of the reasons why the Wings drafted him.

#4 Martin Frk vs. Boston Bruins

Frk made some great plays during Saturday’s win over the Bruins. This power play goal puts on full display his deadly shot. Perhaps will we see more of this on the Red Wings power play this season.

#3 Gustav Nyquist vs. Pittsburgh Penguins

Nyquist had himself quite the night against the Penguins on Wednesday as he produced a four-point game. This well-placed one-timer past the goaltender is complimented nicely by Joe Hicketts great pass.

#2 Darren Helm vs. Boston Bruins

Everyone loves a top-shelf goal and that is exactly what Helm does here against the Bruins.

Next: Team of the Week

#1 Dylan Larkin vs. Boston Bruins

There are wacky goals in the preseason and this is one of them, but nonetheless, it is still a terrific goal that Larkin himself had to get another look at. It was a solid week overall from Larkin as well, he produced three points in two appearances.
