Roster Breakdown

  • A quick glance might give one the impression that the first two teams are split between the projected Red Wings and Grand Rapids Griffins squads. However, there are clearly some positions that are up in the air. It will certainly be interesting to see which players will rise to the occasion and solidify a spot on the first team roster.
  • Putting Cholowski on the same roster with players such as Daley and Green will give the 2016 first-round pick a solid group of guys to learn from and play with.
  • PA Parenteau finds himself on with the rest of the Red Wings regular starters and one has to wonder if he will indeed be the replacement for Andreas Athanasiou if the forward does not reach a deal with the front office.
  • Elsewhere, Team Lindsay is made up heavily of prospects. These players, most of them, will look to impress scouts before heading off into their respective seasons in the junior leagues.
