Detroit Red Wings Reveal NHL Prospect Tournament Roster
The Detroit Red Wings released their roster on Friday for the upcoming National Hockey League Prospects Tournament
On Sept. 8 the NHL Prospects Tournament will get underway at Centre Ice Arena in Traverse City, Michigan. The Red Wing roster will consist of 26 prospects drafted or signed over the past three years as well as free agent invitees.

Tournament Info
The prospects tournament is set to get underway on Friday, Sept. 8. There are two divisions in the tournament which consists of four teams each. The Red Wings prospects were placed in a group with the Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks, and New York Rangers.
It is a very brief tournament that only last four days with the title game being played on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Roster Insights
It’s a talented roster that includes all of the Red Wings first-round picks in the last three years. Michael Rasmussen will have a lot of eyes on him as he looks to make a case for a possible first season in the pro leagues.
