First off, the important thing to remember is these rating are in no way the final. The final ratings  will be released at the end of August. Additionally, the rating can change during the course of the season.

It’s pretty fair to say that Howard and Mrazek are equal at the moment. Kronwall is rated a bit too high and so is Ericsson.

Daley was listed as a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins with his rating but it really shouldn’t change too much as a result of his offseason move.

Mantha and Athanasiou should rise in the ratings if they can produce some great seasons. Those two are probably the two players that will see the biggest spike in the ratings.

At the moment, the two top ranked players in the game are Sidney Crosby and Patrick Kane, they both come in at 92 overall. Maybe Crosby will egde out Kane in the final rating as the top ranked player.
