The Detroit Red Wings development camp continued on Sunday as the prospects were split into two teams for the only scrimmage of the camp.
Team Zetterberg came out victorious on Sunday in Traverse City, Michigan as they defeated Team Kronwall, 3-1.
The game was split into two periods, with a shootout round proceeded the end of the first period of the scrimmage.
Team Zetterberg opened the scoring late in the first period as David Pope netted a goal that was assisted by Jack Adams and Alex Peters. They would increase their advantage just seconds before the end of the first period. Dominik Shine would score the second goal of the game as Pope recorded the assist.
Goaltender Keith Pertuzzeli had a fantastic performance in the shootout portion of the scrimmage and had a great outing overall. The athletic netminder was one of the most impressive players in the game as a whole.

Petruzzelli Shines in Shootout
Pertruzzelli’s performance in the shootout gave us a glimpse of what the young goaltender brings to the table. He is certainly going to be a player to watch for as he progresses in his career. The Massachusetts native will play for Quinnipiac University starting this season.
