#2: The Euro-Twins Will Be United

There aren’t many more well-respected duos in the National Hockey League than Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg. The “Euro-Twins” as they have affectionately been dubbed, have been the faces of the Detroit Red Wings’ organization during the modern era while also being two of the most electrifying and most well-respected players in the league.

Pav and Hank have an undeniable and beautiful hockey connection whenever they are paired together. Together the duo has provided some extremely memorable moments for both Detroit and hockey fans alike. Though the pair hasn’t got much playing time together over the last few seasons due to injuries and line-juggling, at some point during the upcoming NHL season, expect Datsyuk and Zetterberg to be paired on a line once again to provide some more magical moments.

By signing Brad Richards during the off-season, the Red Wings added a key veteran center that will allow a healthy Datsyuk to be paired with his bearded captain once he’s cleared to play. Once again the key to this reunion will be a fully healthy Red Wings’ roster, but (knock on wood) expect to see it at some point during the year.
