Prospect News

The Detroit News released their Red Wings prospect rankings. That can be found here.

MLive.com looks at a critical upcoming collegiate season for prospect David Pope at the University of Nebraska-Ohama.

In other prospect news, 2017 first round draft pick, Michael Rasmussen, was added to the roster for Canada for the upcoming World Junior Summer Showcase. This will be a great opportunity for Red Wings fans to see Rasmussen play live. The tournament gets underway on Saturday at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.

Griffins Signing

The Grand Rapids Griffins made a transaction on Thursday as they inked goalie Pat Nagle to a one-year deal.

Nagle has spent the past two seasons playing for the Fort Wayne Comets in the ECHL. He was a brief member of the Griffins in the 2014-15 season. The 29-year-old played for Ferris State during his college career and is a native of Bloomfield, Michigan.
