Tomas Tatar and the Detroit Red Wings front office are closing in on a deal and Nick Jensen scores in Da Beauty League.

It appears we are very close to Tatar and the Red Wings closing in on a final decision regarding the forward’s contract.

With Tatar eligible for free agency next summer, it won’t be surprising to see the Wings possibly try to trade him during the season.

Nick Jensen Scores in Minnesota Summer League

Jensen scored a goal in the Da Beauty League on Wednesday. The Minnesota Summer League is an interesting concept and Toledo Walleye defenseman Parker Reno is also participating this summer. Learn more here.

Petruzzelli Named to Team USA Blue Team

Red Wings 2017 third-round draft pick, Keith Petruzzelli, was named to one of the two teams that will represent the United States at the World Junior Summer Showcase. The tournament runs from July 29 to Aug. 5 in Plymouth, Michigan.
