The fourth installment of the Detroit Red Wings series on the final farewell to Joe Louis Arena.

In the fourth part of the series, we get a look at the last game played at Joe Louis Arena. As well as Henrik Zetterberg’s ceremony for his 1,000th game played in his National Hockey League career.

The Wings ended their time in the Joe with a great victory against the New Jersey Devils. Riley Sheahan was the unexpected hero as he scored his only goals of the season in the win. Tomas Tatar and Zetterberg also netted goals in the victory.

As mentioned, Zetterberg’s last game in the Joe was a memorable one as it marked his 1,000th career game in the league. The captain has spent his entire career with the Red Wings organization and has an incredible 904 points in his 1,000 appearances.
