Every Red Wing fan has a player or players that they dislike on the team and with the Olympic break over and the NHL season back in full swing now is a good time to discuss these players and why they are disliked by the majority of Red Wing fans.

#5 – Jimmy Howard

The grief that plagues Jimmy Howard all started with Chris Osgood and people blaming Ozzy when the Red Wings lost a game. Since then all the goalie who made Detroit their home received most of the blame, except Dominik Hasek for the most part.

It did not help Howard that he received a well deserved six-year, five million dollar deal and this season has been a major disappointment for Jimmy.

Jimmy Howard did make Team USA, but if he wants to get the fans off of his back he will have to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a Stanley Cup victory.
