2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs: Game 1 – Red Wings Want To Start Round Two Off Right

The Detroit Red Wings start off the Second Round in Chicago against the Blackhawks, puck drop is 8:00 p.m. EDT.

Round Two, who thought the Wings would make it this far? After dispatching the Anaheim Ducks in seven games, they head to Chicago to take on the best team in the NHL. Chicago swept the season series against the Red Wings 0-4, but in the playoffs everything is wiped clean and anything can happen.

The Blackhawks are coming off of a long break after taking out the Minnesota Wild in five games. Time off can be a double edged sword though, it can give the players time to heal, but it can also take away any momentum built up from the round previous. We will see which team the Blackhawks are tonight.
