Valentine’s Day is upon us, and if you’re like me, you’ve scoured your local Hallmark store for any sort of hockey-related Valentine’s card. Because hockey is the only way you can express yourself.

Of course, such things don’t really exist – at least, not in the way we want them to.

A few years back, I started making Detroit Red Wings valentines because how else can you tell your significant other how much you love them unless you compare their perfection to that of Nicklas Lidstrom? Or Jimmy Howard‘s excellent saves? Or Damien Brunner‘s nose? Or… well, you get the picture.

So please, enjoy these valentines. And if you feel so inclined, feel free to print them out and give them to that special someone.
