Lets Throw Lines Together!

The Free Agent Frenzy has died down and there have been a few changes within the Red Wings but there are still many more that could come to pass by the time training camp and the pre season is done. Now here are some lines thrown together. Mixing some things up: Do you agree? Disagree? If you were Ken Holland and/or Mike Babcock what would you do?

Todd Bertuzzi – Pavel Datsyuk (A) – Patrick Eaves

Johan Franzen- Henrik Zetterberg (A) – Danny Cleary

Tomas Holmstrom – Valtteri Filppula – Jiri Hudler

Justin Abdelkader – Darren Helm – Drew Miller

On Rotation: Jan Mursak, Tomas Tatar, or do Wings re-sign Ilari Filppula now that his one year with the Griffins is up as they did with now Buffalo Sabre Ville Leino or do they check out the UFA list:

Chris Drury – the latter I have read, in my opinion, too much talk about via Twitter today (speculation and rumors – I just do not see bringing in a guy that the New York Rangers almost were not able to buy out because of current injury… not my top pick)

Cam Janssen who is a current UFA – lets face it the Chicago Blackhawks signed Dan Carcillo Wings could probably use Janssen in those six games.

Not a fan of Janssen? What about Jarkko Ruutu? Yeah? No?

Jamie Langenbrunner the 35 year old former New Jersey Devil captain that headed back to Dallas last year that is now sitting on the market.

Michael Nylander the former Washington Capital that worked so well within their system is available… yeah… lets move on…

Wasn’t there just some talk within the last week that Owen Nolan wanted to come back?

Nicklas Lidstrom ( C )/ Niklas Kronwall (A)
Brad Stuart / Ian White
Jonthan Ericsson /Mike Commodore

On Rotation: Jakub Kindl, Brendan Smith or maybe a possible To Be Acquired defenseman (Sami Lepisto come on down PLEASE)

Jimmy Howard

Backup possibilities: Veteran options include Chris Osgood, Ty Conklin, Ray Emery, or Marty Turco … oh lord…. Why not just sign Mike McKenna? At least he uses Twitter to have fans pick is new pad sets.
