Tonight, the Red Wings welcome the Toronto Maple Leafs to Joe Louis Arena Saturday night, as they try to end this slippery slope their heading down.
The Detroit Red Wings are slumping, to say the least. A loss tonight would give them 4 in a row. The Wings have got to get better at playing at home, especially being the number 2 seed in the West. If the playoffs started today, we woiuld have home ice advantage at least until the Conference Finals. The Way the Detroit Red Wings have been performing at home is starting to give me chest pains thinking about playoffs.
The Red Wings are coming off a tough loss to the Western Conference champions the Vancouver Canucks. The Wings played hard but just couldn’t put up the numbers. Roberto Luongo dominated that game, he came out hard for 60 minutes, which is exactly what we need to do tonight to get back on track. Now, Datsyuk and Franzen are still out for tonight, However, word on the street is that Dirty Bert will be back in the lineup. Hopefully. Also Ericsson may be out, well know after the morning skate. Doesn’t really matter anyway, Ericsson, Kindl, makes no difference to me.
Come on Wings we need to snap this tie for second with San Jose. Also just noticed today, 8 POINTS! That is what separates us from ninth place! That is scary while on a 3 game losing streak. No information on line combinations for the game yet, but, its getting to that point of theson where things can start getting weird. Will post the lineups after the morning skate tomorrow. Also, don’t forget to check out our Twitter Feed for up to the second coverage tonight. Go Wings!
